Hello all,

”Gioconda Project” is a non-profit artistic experiment with a creative international flare, showcasing high quality artwork from artists known or anonymous from all over the globe, with the attempt to bring Contemporary Art to everyone through one of the most famous works of art in history “La Gioconda”.

The objective is to have artists to convey the essence of “La Gioconda” in the preferred style and technique they are most comfortable with, such as oil, watercolour, acrylic, collage, pencil, photography, sculpture, installations, 3D etc…

Artists may submit up to 3 works of art in different techniques of their choosing. The artworks have to be created by the artists. We do not accept simple retouching with Photoshop or photo retouching over the original artwork of La Gioconda.

The ”Gioconda Project” was launched in October 2012, inviting all artists to submit their work until the end of the October 2013. During this period all works selected by the ”Gioconda Project” will be published online.

Once the submission period has ended, the intention is exposing and publish them in a collective way.

The initiative being an experiment without profit consists of three stages.

1) To receive the works from artists until we’ve got enough to consider the initiative as a relevant project.

2) To set up a “Public relations” campaign in media related to disseminate the project.

3) We will seek help to publish and/or expose the selected works (This will depend on the success of the project).

We appreciate the confidence and participation of all artists, this project wouldn’t be successful without them.

Note: Gioconda Project renounced all the benefits that can be obtained. The initiative is completely altruistic and does not seek any type of reward. All rights of the works belong and shall continue to belong to the author.

Note: All artwork published on “Gioconda Project” will have included the author’s name and their website URL linked.

Your original works may have the size that you decide without any restrictions.

All works* will be published on our Blog, Facebook page, Pinterest and Twitter.

*   (Works published in Gioconda Project have been submitted by their original authors. Gioconda Project reserves the right to select and publish the received works).

“Gioconda Project” es un experimento artístico sin ánimo de lucro con carácter internacional, con obras de arte de alta calidad de artistas conocidos o anónimos de todo el mundo, en un intento de acercar el arte contemporáneo a todo el mundo a través de una de las más famosas obras de arte de la historia, “La Gioconda“.

El objetivo es que los artistas transmitan la esencia de “La Gioconda” en el estilo y técnica que se sientan más cómodo, como óleo, acuarela, acrílico, collage, lápiz, fotografía, escultura, instalaciones, 3D, etc .

Los artistas pueden presentar un máximo de 3 obras en diferentes técnicas de su elección. Las obras tienen que ser creadas por los artistas. No aceptamos retoques simples con Photoshop o retoques fotográficos sobre la obra original de La Gioconda.

“Gioconda Project“, fue lanzado en octubre de 2012, invitando a todos los artistas a presentar sus trabajos hasta el final de octubre de 2013. Durante este período, todos los trabajos seleccionados por ” Gioconda Project“, se publicarán online.

Una vez que el plazo de presentación haya terminado, la intención es exponerlos y publicarlos de manera colectiva.

La iniciativa siendo un experimento sin ánimo de lucro, está formada por tres etapas.

1) Recibir las obras de los artistas hasta que tengamos suficientes para considerar la iniciativa como un proyecto relevante.

2) Establecer una campaña de “relaciones públicas” en medios de comunicación relacionados para la difusión del proyecto.

3) Buscar ayuda para publicar y / o exponer las obras seleccionadas (Esto dependerá el éxito del proyecto).

Agradecemos la confianza y la participación de todos los artistas, este proyecto no tendría éxito sin ellos.

Nota: Gioconda Project renuncia a todos los beneficios que se pueden obtener. La iniciativa es totalmente altruista y no busca ningún tipo de recompensa. Todos los derechos de las obras pertenecen al autor y seguirán siendo propiedad del autor.

Nota: Todas las obras publicadas en “Gioconda Project” incluirán el nombre del autor con su dirección web vinculada. Las obras originales pueden tener el tamaño que decidas, sin ninguna restricción.
